Hi all. I like to make jewelry out of beads.Necklaces and bracelets mainly.
I like to also work with clay.
I did and still do enjoy making things out of clay.. you know pottery. That sort of thing.

Cool beans. I tried getting into seed bead weaving, but I'm having trouble with the thread and beads being so small. My needle keeps weaving in under the strings rather than over....
I never much got into larger bead jewerely, but I'm glad it's enjoyable for you.

Getting into what? I've never heard of that.
I love making bracelets/necklaces but have always had to have help cutting
the strings the right lengths and tying them off when they're ready. Does
anyone have some tips they could give me for that?
And for the person who said they make jewelry out of clay, how do you do that
safely?

I use beads, and use different types of thread. You need quite a bit of dexterity to work with pliers, but it is doable. I finish off pieces with crimping beads, and I cover them with crimp covers to give a more polished look (basically it looks like there's silver/gold beads at the ends. IMHO it's more polished than just having a knot at the end of a string.
I also have recently gotten in to using memory wire, but you need to file it down at the end to make sure it's not cutting anone/anything, and definitely needs special cutters.
Would be happy to assist anyone who wants pointers :)

I'd love some if it doesn't acquire sighted assistance, which I'm tired of having
to depend on lol. It's all good though.

The only thing that might require sighted assistance is choosing colours that match or don't. But when I buy beads, I ask at the shop if they will match. I buy neutral colours (clear, white, black, silver) online.
How can I help?

I like working with beads, would like to try bead weaving sometime. I like to make all sorts of jewlry, but I often change my mind about how I want it to look many times before I settle on a pattern. I have some trou

Used to make Christmas ornaments out of those plastic beads that sort of melt together to form various shapes. Fun stuff.

I'm curious for those that work with the larger beads what brand do you buy and where? I'm looking for the bigger beads with the bigger holes in it, for a project I'd like to do. I'd like to order them off amazon, but the last beads I got were tiny, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use them. lol

For the person talking about the needs used to make Christmas ornaments,
those were called Perlabeeds. I've worked with those before, but had trouble
getting them to stay on the pegs, so finally just dropped some of them on to
them, and put some of them on there properly, and I think miraculously, it all
seemed to come together in the end, and then had to be melted together with
an iron so it could keep its shape.
Someone gave Hannah a set of those, but in the end she lost half the needs
before she had a chance to put it together, so it became useless, but it was
probably a blessing, because she's only 6, so nobody would've had the patience
to do anything with it.
